About SESAM Foundation
SESAM Foundation is a non-profit making organization with the aim of providing charity services to the less privileged with the aim of mitigating and alleviating their suffering and showing the true LOVE of God the Father. The Foundation is registered with the Malawi government to operate in Malawi as a legal institution. The organization is built on the Principle of existing to Serve God whilst Saving Mankind hence the acronym SESAM, which is a short form of “Serving to Save Mankind”. SESAM Foundation was registered with the Malawi government in 2018 as a legally operating institution. However, the work of SESAM started way back in 2008 as a family service to the under-privileged.

Our Implementation
Strategy
SESAM has adopted the community based approach (CBA). This means that the community is in the lead in the implementation of the programs. This covers the assessment, resource mobilization, implementation, monitoring etc. SESAM comes in with the trainings, program quality control, and community mobilization among others.
The Foundation is governed through the Board of Directors who provide strategic direction to management. Management is responsible for the day to day running of the Foundation and lead in the implementation of the Strategy of SESAM.
SESAM works with different partners who are both local and international who share in her vision and aspirations to improving the lives of the less privileged. SESAM believes that together we can make everyone happy and living a life as God intended it to be. SESAM therefore continues to provide a vehicle for different partners to be able to share their blessings with others.
